That rod is a floating brake. My bike, being a single pivot, suffers from brake jack. The floater eliminates this and keeps the suspension fully active under braking.

yeah cant make it man but i might be coming on saturday. i think lutton wants to shoot or something. oh and yeah it is weird to spin and then x up the other way. i can only do 180 x ups atm. i havent tried 360 ones. 180s are easy coz the x up stops you from spinning too far and if you boost high then you have plenty of time
